Can an air purifier be repaired if the UV bulb stops working?
Yes. In most cases, we can repair an air purifier with a failed UV bulb by replacing the lamp and restoring power to the UV assembly. A technician will also test the ballast/power supply, wiring, and safety interlock, and clean the housing for proper output. We service UV germicidal lights and whole-home air purifiers in Atlanta and Roswell. Exact costs depend on on-site diagnosis. If parts are discontinued or damaged, we’ll quote replacement options.
